NATCA Charitable Foundation continues to be successful in
our fund-raising efforts. In 2007 over $50,000 was raised in auctions, golf
tournaments, and direction donations. Our Annual Report will be mailed to all donors on record, please let us know if you would like to receive a copy!
Thank you for
your heartwarming support in the past and we look forward to your continued participation
in 2008!
- NCF Silent Auctions
- Our next auction is planned in conjunction with the
NATCA Biennial Convention, Spetember 2008. Register early - follow this link

- PBI Charity Fishing
Tournament
- NATCAvists in the Palm Beach / Jupiter area had a great
'first' tournament and surpassed it with their second fishing tournament. We
hope to hold this
fun-filled event again so keep your boats and gear ready for another day of fishing for
charity. Time off is at a premium but we are still hoping for some possible
tourney 2008/2009, let us know if you would like
to receive a save the date card.
- NCF Raffle Fund Raiser
- Our last convention raffle was a
beautiful NATCA quilt, hand-made by Linda Buvens and donated by Bill, Pam,
and Linda Buvens. Congrats to our winner!!
- Golf Tournaments
- Our next Golf event will be held in beautiful San
Juan. Chairperson Elena Nash is working on details for a fun filled event
in conjunction with the pre-convention meeting July 2008, San Juan, Puerto
Rico. We have had many NATCA locals hold golf tournaments to
benefit the NATCA Charitable Foundation. Our Houston Area Office as well as
our DC Metro Area Office plan tournament events on a regular basis. 2008
events are still in the beginning planning stages so please keep checking as
details and dates are confirmed - follow the link to our 'golf' page for additional tourney details.
- NCF Annual Campaign and
Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Drive
- NCF has adjusted it's CFC campaign are to Dallas Fort
Worth. South Texas, Georgia, Florida, and Virginia were all discontinued. Many
members have switched from CFC to handling donations directly to NCF via their
Employee Express or Payroll Deduction options. CFC is currently coordinating a
"National Giving" program so any member can donate regardless of your
location. This program is not in place to date so if you live outside of our
CFC Campaign area (DFW) then your options for automatic donations are with
payroll deduction or employee express. Please contact us for details.

CRUISE for Charity
- Our first cruise fund-raiser was held Fall 2005! We
planned a very exciting cruise to follow convention but days off are just near
to impossible to get in the current work environment. We are
working on another cruise event for summer 2009. This is a perfect
get-away for family, and friends. Contact NATCAvist Chris Bishopp with
CruiseOne for dates and details of our upcoming cruise event!
